Cherokee Park
Rachel’s all-time favorite neighborhood in Louisville, built around a gorgeous Olmstead park with plenty of walking trails, historic houses, and cozy scenery. This neighborhood is situated close to Bardstown Rd, a local’s favorite street for eclectic shopping, dining, and coffee shops.
Crescent Hill
Another cozy neighborhood set in the heart of Louisville. Near Frankfort Avenue, another great area for shopping and dining.
St. Matthews
Adding to our cozy neighborhood list, St. Matthews is set in the heart of Louisville. A stay in this area will land you near fun night-life, tasty coffee shops, and lots of Louisville fun.
Getting there
Flying
Fly into either SDF (Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport) or CVG (Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky International Airport). CVG can offer better flight schedules and often cheaper flights, but is an hour and a half drive to/from downtown louisville, while SDF is a short 15 minute drive to your hotel.
Getting around
We will provide transportation to/from the ceremony/reception and hotels on Saturday, and there will be valet parking if you prefer to drive yourself. Ubers and Lyfts are typically the easiest way to get around Louisville without a personal vehicle.
